PosiTest PC - Powder Checker

The Positest PC evaluates uncured powder coatings using non-contact ultrasonic technology to predict a cured thickness. The unit has no cable to brush and disturb powders and is simple to record measurements even over moving parts.

It is suitable over any geometry, even small tubes, odd shapes or moving parts. When precision is critical a calibration adjustment can improve accuracy over unconventional substrates or exotic powders.

The PosiTest PC has the ability to stream positioning and measurement data via its USB port, and can be integrated into on-line, automated applications. A USB Retention Fixture accessory ensures the cabled connection never comes away.

Operation

A target grid guides the user to placing the PosiTest PC the correct distance from the piece under test, this is 2 cm away, and aligned perpendicular to the surface.

The standard test kit is supplied with the following accessories.

Probe Zero Fixture, 4 AAA batteries, flat-head screwdriver, instructions, replacement probe screen, protective lens shield, USB cable, hardshell case, two (2) year warranty
