DeFelsko's PosiTest PG is assembled with a durable aluminium housing which can hold 4 optional cutting tips, with a 1X, 2X and 10X style included. The choice of cutting tip controls the measurement range and accuracy, with a maximum range of 1,250 µm.

Measurement uses a 50X precision optic microscope with a rotating metric / imperial scale.

A AAA battery powers a bright white light to allow easy measurement.
