Utest’s flexural testing frames are designed with stiff construction to limit deformation under load. Each frame is compatible with a full range of testing accessories for conventional two or single point loadings and specialized tests for tiles, kerbs and other elements.
Flexural testing frames may be purchased as stand alone machines, or added to Compression Testing Machine packages.
Stiff construction limits deformation under load, frames are supplied with a single acting down stroking ram with over-travel switch protection. A load cell measures applied force on all frames.
The pictured frame is U Type or Rectangular construction.
A TWOFLEX frame is able to perform flexural tests on longer specimens. A C Type frame has the largest capacity at 300 kN.
All frame designs accept the Utest range of flexural frame accessories.
UTC-5630 is a 300kN C type open structure designed to allow easy and practical front loading of specimens.
The C type design is ideal either for a conventional flexural test or for more sophisticated tests such as deformability and ductility index, as it has a very rigid structure.
UTEST’s 600kN capacity flexural frame is manufactured for minimum deflection at maximum load, resulting in extremely high accuracy.
The load frame is a four column design carrying the ram fitted to the upper crosshead. UTC-5660 is compatible with all accessories required for flexural, transverse or compression tests. This test frame also supports concrete railway sleeper testing accessories.
