The UTCM-0003 Le Chatelier Flask has been designed to measure the density of: Hydraulic cement, Ground granulated blast-furnace slag and fly ash for concrete, Filler aggregates and Lime.
The Le Chatelier flasks hold 250 ml of liquid and are used to measure specific gravity via the displacement method.
Adding cement increases the overall volume of liquid and solid together, and the graduations on the neck of the flask allow for precise measurement of this change.
