The Muffle Furnace range is ideal for a wide range of applications where high temperatures are required. It is commonly used for Loss on Ignition tests for Cement and Quicklime.
Robust construction with serviceable PID temperature control, a duplex thermocouple configuration and solid state switching.
A double skin with high thermal efficiency ceramic insulation ensures cool to touch exterior panels. Door mounted temperature ports allow easy validation and slab construction allows simple side wall replacement.
A cut off safety switch turns off heating elements when the counterbalanced out and up door is open reduces risk to operators.
The maximum continuous operating temperature is 1150 ˚C.
